As Matt Murdock/Daredevil, played by Charlie Cox, who is blind by day and a masked vigilante by night, he battles crime. With Toby Leonard Moore, Vondie Curtis-Hall, Bob Gunton, and Ayelet Zurer joining them for season one, Jon Bernthal, Élodie Yung, and Stephen Rider joining the cast for season two, and Joanne Whalley, Jay Ali, and Wilson Bethel joining the cast for season three, the cast also includes Elden Henson, Rosario Dawson, and Vincent D'Onofrio. Daredevil began production in late 2013, a year after Marvel regained ownership of the character's cinematic rights, and Goddard was first hired in December of that same year. Cox was cast in the role of Daredevil in May 2014, and Ryan Meinerding from Marvel Studios' design team created the outfit.
On April 10, 2015, the first season's entirety was made available on Netflix. The second and third seasons followed on March 18 and October 19, respectively. Positive reviews and several honours, including multiple nominations for Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards, were accorded to them. In April 2016, Netflix placed an order for a spin-off series called The Punisher, featuring Bernthal as Frank Castle/Punisher. On November 29, 2018, Daredevil was terminated by Netflix. On March 1, 2022, all of the Marvel Netflix programmes were taken down by Netflix when Disney reclaimed the rights to them. Disney+ started broadcasting them starting on March 16. Wilson Fisk/Kingpin and Murdock would be played by D'Onofrio and Cox again in Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) films made by Marvel Studios, including new seires Daredevil: Born Again, which is in development for Disney+.

Storyline:
